you-have-to-f-eat

‘You Have To F*cking Eat’ is the sequel to the famous children’s book ‘Go The F*uck To Sleep‘ and it’s awesome. I got my hands on an early copy, and I have to tell you if you thought the first book was hilarious – you have no idea. The author totally nails the every day frustrations parents go through trying to get their kids to eat, and delivers it in a way that will make these same parents laugh and realize that they are not alone in this everyday struggle.

My-First-Dictionary-funny

Alright, I have just found a book that will change your life forever – well maybe not, but it will provide you with a ton of laughs and will be an awesome conversation piece to layout on your coffee table during parties.

From the Back Cover:

What makes Mommy so bitter? Where does Daddy conceal the door to his secret S&M dungeon? And why is everyone laughing about Grandma’s latest delusion?

My First Dictionary answers these questions, and includes many other useful definitions, such as:

A burden is a source of worry or stress. Old people are usually burdens.

Father is nostalgic. He is remembering the happier times before you were born.

A puppy is a young dog. Connie gets a puppy every time she agrees not to tell. Daddy calls them hush puppies.

Carry a copy of My First Dictionary in your schoolbag and you’ll never be at a loss for words again!

big-book-why

If you’re like me, and chances are if you’re reading this you are, on an average day, you get asked about 500 questions a day, and most of them start why the infamous “why?” After days turn into weeks with the same questions being asked over and over again, I decided to purchase this book I found on Amazon titled, ‘National Geographic Little Kids First Big Book of Why’. Now although this book is very informative and entertaining, it doesn’t stop the flood of questions your child with ask, but it will help slow them down. Plus, it’s a book that will distract them a bit when they’ve pushed you past your threshold of the random nonsense kid questions that they ask. The book also has experiments and projects developed around certain questions asked, to help them learn as well, as the following picture shows:

doughnuts

This is hands down one of the best books I’ve ever bought for my children, and you should definitely think about picking one up.

shitty-mom

This is a pretty hilarious book written by 4 moms, each who write a chapter about a scenario dealing with their child and then break it down and share with you the easiest way to get through it, showing their true colors and how much of a sh*tty mom each of them really are. It’s definitely a book that should be added to your collection.

sleep

I didn’t know anything about this book until I was randomly searching the internet one night and stumbled across it. It basically a bedtime book for parents that has none of the cutesy, nursery rhyme, feel good story books that we’ve all come to adore. It’s crude, rude and full of attitude, and tells it like it is, when we are just ready for our kids to finally go to sleep, but they just won’t.

The audio version is narrated by Samuel L. Jackson, and is just incredible. This book would make an awesome gift. I actually just bought one for the coffee table.
